Official Court Reporter - Berks County There is an immediate opening for an Official Court Reporter in the Court of Common Pleas. Duties include stenographically recording criminal/civil trials and proceedings as well as all other matters heard before the Court. This 35-hour-per-week union position has a salary based on experience with increases after 6 months and 2 years of successful employment up to $75,400 with additional income earned by producing verbatim transcripts. The position includes full benefits of medical insurance and prescriptions, vision/dental, paid vacation, personal time, sick leave, 14 holidays, and participation in the County of Berks' pension program. This full time position starts at $60,000 -65,000 with additional income earned by producing verbatim transcripts and yearly percentage increases. The position includes benefits of medical insurance and prescriptions, paid vacation, personal time, sick leave, 13 holidays, and participation in the County of Somerset’s pension program.
